- About Me:
- I am a doctoral student at Ohio State hopefully taking my general exams summer qtr. because I believe I am the oldest (living) graduate student at OSU!
I have a B.S.Ed in secondary social studies and English education and a M.A. in journalism--both from OSU. I hope to graduate soon so I can least work for a year before I have to retire.

- What arenas of practice are you interested in working in?
- k-12 schooling, policy, higher education, curriculum issues, international issues, environment
- What specific activites do you hope the John Dewey Society can undertake?
- I would like to see a conference celebrating Dewey's 150th birthday. Many in academia know something about Dewey but I think with the way schools are today, Dewey's ideas need to get out "there" more--beyond academia--to the general public.
